AI is powerful. Here’s how we use it.

All AI Features in Nestory are powered exclusively by Anthropic PBC and its Claude AI model family. No other third-party AI provider is currently used.

Anthropic is a US-incorporated company operating under its own Privacy Policy and Consumer Terms.

When Nestory processes an email or chat message for event extraction, or when you use the AI chat assistant, the following data is sent to Anthropic’s API:

Our Data Processing Agreement with Anthropic includes a zero-retention option: Anthropic’s API does not retain request content after returning an inference response. Anthropic’s standard API Terms prohibit using API inputs/outputs for training Anthropic models without customer consent, which we have not granted.

This prohibition applies to: message text, household member data, AI-learned facts, chat conversations, and any other Customer Data sent through the Service.

Nestory’s AI Features are designed to assist you in organizing your household — not to replace your judgment. By using AI Features, you acknowledge that:

• AI Outputs may extract events that are incorrect, duplicate, or missing from messages
• The AI may misinterpret colloquial, multilingual, or ambiguous message text
• AI Outputs are suggestions — you are responsible for reviewing, confirming, editing, or rejecting each extracted event
• Nestory’s AI chat assistant may produce confident-sounding but incorrect responses (“hallucinations”)
• Do not rely on Nestory as the sole source of truth for critical household commitments, deadlines, or appointments

Wiseard is not liable for damages arising from your reliance on AI Outputs. The limitation of liability in Terms of Service Section 13 applies fully to AI Output errors.

Features labeled “Beta,” “Preview,” or “Early Access” are experimental AI capabilities that:

• May produce less accurate Outputs than production AI Features
• May be withdrawn or significantly changed at any time without notice
• Are excluded from any service level commitments
• Are provided without warranty beyond what is legally mandatory

By enabling a Beta Feature, you acknowledge and accept these additional limitations.

Anthropic is currently the sole AI Sub-processor. If we add a new AI Sub-processor or switch to a different AI provider, we will:

• Publish notice on this page and via email to registered users at least 15 days before the new provider begins processing Customer Data
• Update the AI Provider name in Section 2 and the Privacy Policy Sub-processor table
• Obtain written confirmation that the new provider does not use Customer Data for Training and maintains equivalent security standards

If you object to a new AI Sub-processor, you may terminate your subscription within 30 days of the notice and receive a pro-rated refund.

AI Outputs generated from your Customer Data belong to you, subject to Anthropic’s Consumer Terms. Wiseard makes no intellectual property claim to AI Outputs.

Because AI Outputs are generated by a machine learning model, their copyrightability under applicable law is uncertain. To the extent any copyright subsists in AI Outputs, Wiseard assigns such rights to you.

You may use AI Outputs for personal household management purposes. You may not use AI Outputs in a manner that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.

In compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.2(i) (effective November 2025), Nestory obtains your explicit consent before AI Features process your data for the first time.

On first use of any AI Feature (message-to-event extraction or AI chat), the Nestory app displays a consent screen that:

• Names Anthropic PBC as the AI provider
• Describes the data sent to Anthropic (Section 3 above)
• Confirms Anthropic does not use your data for Training
• Links to this AI Terms page and the Privacy Policy
• Requires an affirmative “I agree” tap before proceeding

You may withdraw this consent at any time by disabling AI processing in Settings → AI Features. Withdrawal stops future AI processing but does not affect prior lawful processing.
